Our Cusco, Peru Vacation Packages will combine history, nature, and adventure in a complete journey. We will travel through Lima, Ica, Paracas, and Cusco. Each day will reveal highlights of Peru’s rich heritage and breathtaking landscapes. These Cusco Tour Packages will offer us culture, gastronomy, and unforgettable experiences in only eight days.
On the first day, we will arrive in Lima and start with a guided city tour. We will explore the Parque del Amor, Larcomar, and Huaca Pucllana. We will taste the famous Pisco Sour and visit San Francisco’s convent and catacombs. This day will introduce us to Peru’s cultural blend of colonial and pre-Hispanic history.
On the second day, we will travel south to Paracas. We will sail to the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions and penguins. We will see the mysterious Candelabro geoglyph on the way. Later, we will continue to Ica for local gastronomy, then reach Huacachina Oasis for dune buggies and sandboarding.
On the third day, we will fly to Cusco, the heart of the Inca Empire. We will visit Qorikancha, Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Puca Pucará, and Tambomachay. Each site will reveal the impressive engineering of the Incas. We will return to the city and end near the historic center.
On the fourth day, we will explore the Sacred Valley. We will visit Chinchero, Moray, and the Salineras of Maras with over 3,500 salt pools. After a buffet lunch in Urubamba, we will explore Ollantaytambo fortress. From there, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes to prepare for Machu Picchu.
The fifth day will be unforgettable as we visit Machu Picchu. We will ascend by bus to the sanctuary and enjoy a guided tour. We will explore the Sun Temple, sacred plazas, and terraces. Afterward, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the train back to Cusco.
On the sixth day, we will hike to Humantay Lake at 4,200 meters above sea level. We will start from Soraypampa and ascend for 1.5 hours. We will enjoy turquoise waters framed by snowcapped peaks. After lunch, we will return to Cusco in the afternoon.
The seventh day will take us to the Rainbow Mountain, or Vinicunca. We will drive to Cusipata, then hike for 1.5 hours. At 5,200 meters above sea level, we will admire colorful slopes and views of Ausangate Glacier. After photos and exploration, we will return to Cusco for our last evening.On the eighth day, we will enjoy free time in Cusco. We may relax, shop for crafts, or explore the streets. Cusco Peru Vacation Packages 8 days 7 nights
Day 1: Arrival in Lima – City Tour
We will arrive at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, where our representative will greet us with a sign. We will transfer to our hotel for a short rest. In the afternoon, we will begin our Lima city tour.
We will visit the Parque del Amor in Miraflores and enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean coastline. We will continue to Larcomar, a modern shopping and entertainment complex built on cliffs. Next, we will visit Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca adobe pyramid in the heart of the city.
Later, we will enjoy a Pisco Sour demonstration, tasting Peru’s most famous drink. We will then visit the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs. We will end the day with a return to our hotel.

Day 2: Paracas, Ica, and Huacachina
We will depart Lima between 04:30 and 05:00 AM in private transport to Paracas. After three hours, we will reach the coast. Here, we will board a speedboat to the Ballestas Islands.
We will admire sea lions, Humboldt penguins, pelicans, and marine biodiversity. On the way, we will observe the Candelabro, a massive geoglyph etched on the desert hill. After the excursion, we will travel to Ica for a traditional lunch.
In the afternoon, we will head to the Huacachina Oasis, a desert paradise surrounded by golden dunes. We will ride powerful dune buggies across the sand and try sandboarding. Free time will allow us to relax by the oasis or explore on foot. At night, we will return to Lima.

Day 3: Arrival in Cusco – City Tour
We will fly from Lima to Cusco, arriving at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport. Our representative will transfer us to the hotel. After some rest, we will begin our Cusco city tour.
We will visit Qorikancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun. The site reveals the impressive fusion between Inca foundations and Spanish architecture. Next, we will explore Sacsayhuamán, a ceremonial fortress with enormous stone walls.
We will continue to Q’enqo, an Inca sanctuary with carved altars and tunnels. Afterward, we will visit Puca Pucará, a small fortress, and Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to water. We will return to Cusco and end the tour near the Plaza de Armas.

Day 4: Chinchero, Maras, Moray, and Ollantaytambo
We will start at 7:00 AM and travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be Chinchero. Here, we will visit its archaeological site and admire a demonstration of Andean weaving traditions.
We will continue to Moray, where giant circular terraces descend into the earth. This site served as an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory. Next, we will visit the Salineras of Maras, a unique salt mine with over 3,500 salt ponds.
At noon, we will enjoy a Novo-Andean buffet lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon, we will explore Ollantaytambo fortress, a strategic Inca citadel. In the evening, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

Day 5: Visit to Machu Picchu
This day will be unforgettable. We will take a bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. We will pass winding roads surrounded by cloud forests. At the entrance, we will show our tickets and passports.
Our expert guide will lead us through Machu Picchu for two hours. We will discover the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, and the Sacred Plaza. Each corner will reveal the genius of Inca engineering.
We will take unforgettable photos of the citadel and surrounding peaks. If we have permits, we may hike Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. Afterward, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and return to Cusco.

Day 6: Humantay Lake
We will depart Cusco between 04:00 and 05:00 AM, and drive two hours to Mollepata. After breakfast, we will continue to Soraypampa.
From here, we will hike uphill for 1.5 hours to Humantay Lake. We will see lush vegetation, Andean flora, and grazing llamas. At 4,200 meters above sea level, we will reach the turquoise waters of the lake.
We will enjoy free time for photos and rest. After snacks, we will descend and return to Soraypampa. Later, we will have lunch and return to Cusco.

From the base, we will begin a 1.5-hour hike toward Rainbow Mountain. We will pass herds of alpacas and llamas. We may interact with local shepherds in colorful traditional clothing.
At 5,200 meters above sea level, we will reach the summit. We will marvel at the mountain’s red, yellow, and turquoise stripes. We will also admire the Ausangate Glacier, Cusco’s highest peak. After photos, we will descend, enjoy lunch in Cusipata, and return to Cusco.
